Internal Affairs Division<br \/>\n2. External Affairs Division<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The office was again renamed as Department of Law and Order in 2016 as per approval accorded by Cabinet vide letter no. C-3\/12SLZ\/201.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vision:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo uphold national security for all times to come<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong><br \/>\nCoordinate and formulate policies for upholding national security, maintaining law and order and border management<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To formulate and issue policies for maintaining law and order<\/li>\n<li>To coordinate activities and formulate policy for border management<\/li>\n<li>To ensure good relations with neighboring state<\/li>\n<li>To promote common national identity and nurture national unit<\/li>\n<li>To oversee &amp; monitor all activities that have bearing on national security<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Background Law and Order Division was set up in 1988.
