The Ministry of Home Affairs has recently recruited 19 Gewog Administrative Officers<\/strong> (GAOs) on a consolidated contract basis to fill vacant positions in 19 Gewogs across the country. The \u2018New Appointment Induction Program<\/strong>\u2019 is scheduled from May 29-30, 2025<\/strong>, designed to equip the new recruits with essential knowledge, skills, and competencies to effectively perform their roles in the Gewogs.<\/div>\n

Over the two days of the induction program, the new recruits will be provided with comprehensive knowledge of the functions and responsibilities of all departments and divisions under the Ministry of Home Affairs including the Civil Service Code of Conduct and Ethics. This brief program will enable them to prepare for an holistic approach to deliver effective and efficient service delivery in the Gewogs.<\/div>\n

The program is organized jointly by the Department of Local Governance and Disaster Management<\/strong> (DLGDM) and the Human Resource Division<\/strong> (HRD) of the Ministry.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The newly recruited GAOs will be joining the respective Gewogs w.e.f June 1,2025<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
