Through His Holiness’s wisdom, guidance and unwavering commitment to preserving the Buddha Dharma, these profound empowerments, sacred oral transmissions and pith instructions have been bestowed for the benefit of all devotees.

The sacred occasion has been safeguarded by the Dharma Protectors, and made possible through the exemplary collaboration between the Zhung Dratshang and the Royal Government of Bhutan.

Under the visionary leadership of His Eminence Tshoki Lopen and Cabinet Secretary Dasho Kesang Deki, and through the tireless dedication of the Sangha, Senior Government Officials, Armed Forces, Desuups and innumerable supporters, every aspect of the month-long spiritual gathering was carried out with humility, diligence, discipline and a spirit of volunteerism. United by a shared aspiration to preserve and propagate the sublime teachings of the Buddha, they have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create the conditions through which immeasurable merit may arise for the welfare of all sentient beings.

Today, we are honoured to share a glimpse of the many individuals whose services often remain unseen, yet whose contributions have been indispensable to the success of this sacred gathering. Beginning as early as 2:00 a.m.—long before the first light of dawn—and continuing until 11:00 p.m., or even beyond midnight, they have laboured tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every aspect of this extraordinary event unfolds with dignity, harmony, precision and reverence.

From those who anchored the overall coordination and oversaw finance and budgetary management, to the teams who handled arranging the Chökhang for each day’s empowerments, coordinating guests and the Choeshom Larim; from communications and media personnel documenting each sacred moment, to those who arranged logistics, raised the chadri and tents, operated the sound and LED screens, and kept the power supply running without interruption—every function was carried by hands working quietly out of sight.

Others devoted themselves to constructing and maintaining public toilets and ensuring hygiene, to waste and water supply management, and to transport and mobility, including the drivers who moved devotees safely to and from the site all day, every day. Security, traffic and crowd management teams stood for hours in the sun and rain to keep everyone safe and watched over the vast assembly, while medical and emergency services teams stayed alert at every hour.

In the kitchens, cooks and vegetable cutters laboured from before dawn to feed tens of thousands of devotees, supported by procurement and stores personnel who ensured that nothing ever ran short, and food servers and public catering teams who ensured that the food was served hot and delicious to the devotees.

BAFDA officials ensured the quality of the food served through ingredient tests and took every sample for laboratory testing, and even the Thrichue was prepared every day using bottled mineral water.

Every other volunteer, whatever their task, gave of themselves in ways too numerous to name individually but impossible to overlook. Each one of you carried a piece of this gathering on your shoulders. Every task has been performed with unwavering dedication, meticulous care and a profound sense of responsibility.

Their quiet service stands as a living expression of the Buddhist virtues of generosity, joyful perseverance, humility and compassionate action.

This sacred gathering has likewise been sustained through the extraordinary generosity of countless devotees and Dharma benefactors near and far.

Moved by faith and devotion to the Three Jewels, they have supported the Khathrid in innumerable ways—providing truckloads of drinking water, donating essential food supplies and daily provisions, sponsoring meals for the vast assembly, making offerings to the Sangha and continuously offering Tsok throughout the empowerments.

Every offering, however small, has become an indispensable condition for the successful accomplishment of this sacred month-long event.

To each and every individual who has contributed through service, generosity or prayer, we offer our deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude. Though much of your work has remained unseen, its significance is beyond measure. Through your selfless efforts, tens of thousands of devotees have been able to receive these precious empowerments and teachings in an atmosphere of serenity, harmony and order.

May the merit from this collective effort be a cause for the long life and enlightened activities of our precious Root Guru; for the flourishing and continuity of the precious Buddha Dharma; for lasting peace and prosperity throughout our beloved Kingdom of Bhutan; and for the ultimate liberation and enlightenment of all sentient beings.

We dedicate this merit, above all, to the long life, good health and well-being of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, and to the entire Royal Family of Bhutan. May Their Majesties’ noble aspirations be accomplished effortlessly and completely.

May the Kingdom of Bhutan continue to flourish in peace and harmony, and may the radiant light of the Buddha Dharma spread throughout the world, bringing benefit and liberation to all sentient beings.

This version keeps your original wording while formatting it for a website with a clear title, date/location line, and well-structured paragraphs for improved readability.

Kuenselphodrang | 14 July 2026 As the month-long Khathrid Empowerment at the sacred grounds of Kuenselphodrang draws to its auspicious close, it leaves behind something far larger than the Empowerments… Read more »

[9
