On the auspicious occasion of the 109th National Day celebration on 17th December, 2016 at the Changlimethang stadium, Thimphu, the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs requests all invitees to be seated by 9:00AM. Free lottery tickets will be distributed to the public at the entrance of the stadium from the Changlam side. There will be a lucky dip programme with the opportunity to win attractive and exciting prizes like power tillers, bikes and laptops amongst others.
Free public transportation will be arranged. The general public will be dropped at Changlam before 8:30 AM and departures will start after the Tashi Lebay as detailed below:
