On this auspicious day of 17 February 2026, Hon’ble Nangsi Lyonpo conferred Dhar to appoint Mr. Dorji Rinchen as the Senior Dzongrab of Tashigang Dzongkhag.
Mr. Dorji Rinchen, formerly Chief Civil Registration and Census Officer under the Census Services Division at the Department of Civil Registration and Census, Ministry of Home Affairs, brings over 17 years of experience since his appointment on 1 January 2009. His career spans roles from Assistant Research Officer (P5A) to Chief Civil Registration and Census Officer (P1A). Prior to joining as Chief under the Department, he served as Dy. Chief Civil Registration and Census Officer in Trashigang Dzongkhag Census Sector.
His extensive background in civil registration, census operations, and public administration marks a significant step towards strengthening local governance and promoting rural development in Tashigang Dzongkhag.
