The race route covers Yid-Zhin Throm, Taa Dzong, Choetse Dzong and the viewpoint via Baa Zam before returning to Yid-Zhin Throm.
The two-day event brings together communities from all five gewogs, along with schools and local institutions, to promote cultural preservation, community participation, local entrepreneurship and cultural tourism.
The festival also provides a platform for communities to showcase their traditions, creativity and local products while strengthening community engagement and appreciation of Trongsa’s rich cultural heritage.
