The Ministry of Home Affairs held its 1st Quarterly Coordination Meeting (QCM) for the Financial Year (FY) 2026–2027 on 6 October 2026 at the Minister’s Hall, Tashichhodzong, with the Departments, Royal Bhutan Police, and Civil Society Organization Authority.

The QCM provided an opportunity to review the progress of the Annual Work Plan for FY 2026–2027, including key achievements and challenges; address major issues requiring policy guidance, management and technical support; and strengthen coordination and collaboration within the Ministry and among its Departments and agencies.

As part of the QCM, the Ministry of Home Affairs signed the Annual Performance Agreements (APAs) for FY 2026–27. The Hon’ble Home Minister signed the APAs with the Secretary of the Ministry, the Chief of Police, and the Chief Program Officer of the Civil Society Organization Authority. Subsequently, the Secretary signed the APAs with the Heads of the five Departments under the Ministry.

The signing of the APAs formally established the performance expectations, strategic priorities, and key deliverables of the respective agencies and supervising authorities for FY 2026–27. The APAs will serve as the basis for monitoring, evaluating, and assessing performance throughout the financial year.
