
The Home Minister received a courtesy call from Mr. Pinaki Ganguly, Chief Executive Officer of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Bhutan, accompanied by Mr. Arun Varma, TCS Global Executive Sponsor.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on potential areas of collaboration in digital governance and technology-driven solutions relevant to Bhutan’s public administration, security, and disaster preparedness.
The discussions focused on innovations in disaster prevention, crime monitoring, and traffic monitoring, highlighting the potential of digital technologies to strengthen monitoring systems, improve coordination, and support timely and effective responses to emerging situations. The adoption of innovative digital solutions in these areas could contribute to enhancing public safety, strengthening institutional capabilities, and improving the delivery of government services.
The courtesy call also provided a platform to explore how emerging technologies and digital innovations could support Bhutan’s ongoing digital transformation efforts and contribute to building more efficient, responsive, and citizen-centric public services.
